We have these SMD LED task lights built to our specifications to ensure the maximum amount of light reaches the counter top edge.  The 12 volt strip light easily mounts under a kitchen cabinet using the 2 included metal mounting clips. Quick connectors allow you to link the lights together when running them in a line. Available in 2 lengths, 100 cm (39.4") and 50 cm (19.7") these lights are also able to be custom cut to any size you require.  The strips can be cut approximately every 1.50 inches.  Each light comes with 2 sets of mounting clips (straight and angled) and 2 end caps finish any lights you cut to fit your cabinets. If you provide us with your plan we will custom cut and finish your lights with no additional charge.  They will be shipped cut, labeled and ready to install. When laying out your lights please keep in mind that the lights that have been trimmed will only have a wire feed on one end with the other end finished with the provided end cap and gasket.  In most layouts the cut light is used at the end of a run.  Once cut you cannot add a lead to the cut end.

Power for these lights is supplied by a 120VAC /  12V DC LED Driver which is sized according to the total watts used by the lights for your layout.  Drivers can be viewed here and are available in 10W, 25W, 30W, 40W, 60W or 75W sizes.  Some helpful information about installing the lights and how to size the required driver can be viewed on our FAQ page.  Drivers are sold separately.

The lights are available in a special warm white (4100K) which will provide a very nice bright warm light without appearing too yellow.  The cool white colour (6000K) gives a whiter light similar to what you would expect from a standard fluorescent tube.  The very small profile (5/8" mounted) offers attractive, functional task lighting with or without a light rail on your cabinet.  Very easy to retrofit your existing kitchen.  Call us, we are glad to help with your layout and installation questions.
