This bulb contains 3 high power 3 watt CREE LED SMD Chips that are designed to replace a 50W halogen bulb. Halogen bulbs produce a lot of heat and have a short lifespan. This replacement LED has a lifespan of 50,000 hours and lasts for 12 years if you leave them on for 12 hours a day. This LED MR16 will run at 12V AC or 12V DC making it a direct replacement for your existing halogen bulb.
