Downlight Housings

Keep the fixture, change the bulb...it is your choice

Our “Choice Series” LED housings are designed to hold a standard MR16 LED bulb or our HHG07 series cabinet puck light.  You can select your bulb or puck light in this category.

You can now have a downlight that will be configured specifically for your application and an LED fixture that has a changeable bulb. MR16 LED bulbs are available in 3 watt, 6 watt or 9 watt.  In addition the light colour can be Warm White (3200K), Daylight (4500K) or Cool White (6000K).  You also have a choice of  light spread of 15, 30, 45 and 60 degrees. This housing will let you choose whatever combination will work best for you. Should the application change or bulb fail you can reuse the housing and just change the bulb. This option is not available with other downlights sold with the LEDs integrated into the fixture.  You will never have to worry about matching your other downlights.

If installing into an insulated ceiling your local code may require an insulation cover. These housings will also install into an existing 3" pot light can.

Each LED housing comes with a MR16 light socket and lead making it ready to install to a low voltage power source.  We will be glad to assist you in the layout of your downlights and the low voltage wiring they will require.  You are buying the housing only and will have to order the required bulbs separately.
