CFL's a health hazzard?

Interesting article published in 2009 about the possible health hazzards being studied by Macleans magazine by Health Canada.  We all ran out and bought them to save energy and now it doesn't look like that was the best thing we could have done.  Fotunatly LED lighting has become more mainstream since this article was published in January 2009.

This free online monthly publication follows the research and development of the technology.  It will give you a peek at what is being worked on and what has been released.  Not all of the products shown are available in Canada yet as they have not met the Canadian electrical standards.

There are always questions about LED Drivers and this article will explain and review the importance of buying a quality driver to make the most out of your investment in LED lighting.  A poor power supply will shorten the expected lifespan of any LED low voltage lighting you install.  Take a look around the site as there is a lot of information you may be interested in.  They are based in the UK were LED lighting is many years ahead of what we are seeing in Canada.
